Please ensure that all cattle have two matching tags and the correct passport. This is a legal requirement.
FARM ASSURANCE - Would all cattle vendors selling cattle as Farm Assured please ensure that their Farm Assurance is up to date and all passports have a current sticker.
NAMED SIRES - Vendors are advised that Named Sires MUST be officially printed on the passport of the animal and NOT HAND WRITTEN. We will not sell animals as being Named Sire if the sire details are not printed on the passport. Thank You
Please can all vendors make sure the correct sex of the animal is on the passport. Also please can any Bulls or Rigs be declared when unloaded to a member of staff - Thank you
Please note - All empty trailers/lorries coming into the market must be completely clean and all trailers/lorries bringing in stock must wash out and disinfect before leaving the market - Thank you
If you have any pictures of the cattle, sheep, or calves that you are selling, please send them to our facebook page or email them to us and we will advertise them.
