Another very fast trade, with loads of prospective buyers trying to get in. Cows and calves reached £1640 for T. Batley and £1500 for K Key

"What a trade these cavles are" was a phrase I heard more than 7 times.  The prices speak for themselves.
Continentals sold to £420 for a Blonde bull calf from Raven Bros, with Blues from CW Potter to £410, £390, £388 and Alex Dann to £390, £375. Alex also had Angus to £368, £372 and Black and Whites to £160, a prices matched by R. Paterson.  Limousins from R. Paterson sold to £402, £400, £398, £398, £390, £388. Herefords in demand selling from Coston Hall to £330, Tom Crawford £290 and LG Brigham £280
