Demand exceeded supply in this section, with a 7yo Pedigree Simmental Stock Bull from A.Hurn & Partners reaching £2,000 and Simmental x Cows and Calves from Andrew Watts to £1900, with the same vendor achieving £1650 for Angus Cows and Calves. In Calf Limousin Cows from Andrew Watts reached £1150

A few more about and the calf trade is keeping up with the beef. Top price went to a Suckler Lim x Heifer at £405 from Davis Dairies.
CW Potter & Son sold Blues to £402, £402, £378 whilst Alex Dann reached £375, £345, £335 for Blues and £295 for Angus, a price equalised by David Parsons Angus bull calf. As ever, Limousins were in demand selling to £290, £265, £240, £252, £255 for R. Paterson. Black and Whites reached £90 for Alex Dann.

Another busy market with most pens filled with either sheep or cattle. Generally prices were a little easier, but not much and in line with most outlets this week. Prices expected to rise over the next few weeks.
