356  Head of Cattle & Calves

253 Store and Breeding Cattle

The Beef Trade is remaining firm and although the weather has changed which causes its own issues, the store trade blazes on. No real strength again in the stores, but check out the prices below to see how much our not so big ones make !
Cows and Cavles attracted a lot of interest. Outfits with stronger calves sold to £1790 for T & H Sheldrake, £1570 for RM Shaw & AJ Goate and £1470 for A. Watts.  New customers for the stores made a very keen trade, with a top price of £1070 for steers (R.Criddle) and £1070 for heifers (Holkham Estate)
