Wow !! A great trade for all sorts forward and no real strength but well over a handful of potential buyers tried, but could not get started as prices soared ahead.

More customers present with young BB cows to 156ppkg for R. Parker and big cows to 121ppkg £1016 for Deane  Sons

 

Breeding Cattle

Plenty of interest here with Limx  Cows and Calves to £1060 for B. Morton & Sons

(44) Calves & Stirks

Harder work and a cooler atmosphere in the calf ring but quality calves still reached good prices. BB bulls sold to £288 and heifers to £278 for Potter & Son. Alex Dann reached £252 with BB bulls calves and David Parsons £235. Hereford bulls calves reached £222 for Tom Crawford and Angus sold to £205 for David Parsons

Good show of Hoggs again on this blustery day in Norwich. Michelle Lakey topping the market with Beltex Lambs to £120 per head and 294ppkg
Thanks to Dunhill Farms Ltd for a consignment of 195 Prime hoggs to average £89.71

A small entry than expected but trade was 'on fire' with buyers fighting over them. Top price went to Brandon Francis at £126 for a Beltex Ewe.
