Market Report
Saturday 11th January 2020
Notes
193 Store Cattle.
What a good start to the new decade. A round of applause to the producers and luckily there were 7 extra buyers/potential buyers to keep everyone keen and prices higher than buyers wanted to pay. Top price went to M. Wyand with an in calf Hereford Cow at £1050. Lincoln Red Cows, in calf, from the same vendor reached £870 and £860. Some of the store cattle were 'on fire' and while there was no real strength, Simmental x Steers 14mo topped at £920 for R. Giles
