Another better trade than expected.  No real strength but as always quality in demand. Hurn & Partners sold 21mo Simmental heifers to £940 and in calf cows from RM Shaw & AJ Goate sold to £880 followed by the sale of her calf for £620 - not a bad price for the outfit. Youngish B.Blue x Cows pd 3-5m in calf to the Limousin bull from the same vendor reached £970.
It is becoming more important with forward stores and prime cattle to get Farm Assured if you can.

Less about and a much imporved trade. BB heifers from Potters reached £270, but top price of the day went to David Parsons with BB bulls to £278 and £275. Alex Dann also had blues to £245 and Tom Crawford to £255.
