A lot of interest in Cows and Calves with a good run of young Cows with Angus Calves from J A Harvey topping at £3,000 twice with others from the same vendor to £2,900, £2750, £2600

Small seasonal entry of calves met a strong demand exceeding supply

CW Potter topped at £590 with a B.Blue Heifer. R Paterson had Charolais Calves to £550 & £505 and Herefords to £440 & £430. Alex Dann  was runner up today with a Blue Bull Calf at £555.

A decent entry with prices everywhere very up and down. We had a reasonable trade throughout with farmers very pleased.

Smaller Hoggs easy to sell with heavy Hoggs much harder. Thankfully most lambs forward were under 45kg with CD Riseborough topping at 408.80ppkg and Richard Criddle selling to £180
