A lot of interest, not surprisingly, saw Cows and Calves reach £2300 three times for RW & DR Coe. Onwards and upwards seems to be the trend.

Top spot (twice) went to CW Potter with a Blue Bull at £560 and the same vendor reaching £550 for another one. Charolais from R Paterson also reached £550 and £545, with Herefords from the same to £400. CB & SC Gapp sold Angus to £355 and RJ Barnes reached £400 for Limousins.

A very nice entry and a very nice trade to match.  The lamb trade has just eased towards the end of the week after a very fast start. This did not bother us though and we just cracked on.

PRIME HOGGS
Topped at 399ppkg for Rob Britton and £176 for M Peck.  Overall average 335.8ppkg

Trade still very sharp, especially for large meated ones. Ewes sold to £248 for S Spinks and Rams reached £194 for Alburgh Lamb.

A lot of interest and bidders for store hoggs selling to £138 for P Haistead and G Grapes to average £104.06
