We had more store cattle from one man than many markets had in total. Plus and this is a very bit plus - despite reports this week that farming cattle were cheaper because farmers were so busy, ours were considerably dearer !!
With the beef trade on the up (for now) this could be a sign of the times ?

Simmental x Cows and Calves from Lambert & Co sold to £1725, £1700 with Angus Cows and Calves to £1680 for Mr De Bootman.
A Blonde Stock Bull from Raven Bros made £1850

Another harvest entry with more buyers than calves and a great trade.
CW Potter sold 4 Blues to £450, £435, £428 & £415 with Alex Dann offering Charolais to £412 and Black and Whites to £95
