182 STORE CATTLE AND CALVES

STORE CATTLE

Yet another entry exceeding expectations for the time of the year.
Trade for the better sorts and stronger cattle was very dear as per usual, whilst second rate and smaller cattle were a bit easier. The Breeding section was lively with older stock bulls selling to £2,100 for a Parthenais, £1,900 for an Aberdeen Angus and £1,800 for a British Blue.
