What a difference a week or two makes. Many Farmer buyers wishing to stock up before Christmas saw prices elevated to very high levels.
RJ Barnes topped the market with Blues at £315, followed by Alex Dann at £308. CB & SC Gapp sold Herefords to £255, while Angus from Alex Dann reached £255. Limousins from RJ Barnes sold to £275

Having back to back sales impacted on numbers this bitterly cold day, though I was happy with the support and prices today.

A few less forward, with some farmers holding off until next week and the Christmas Show & Sale also the same old problem, lambs being harder to finish this year. Alburgh Lamb topped proceedings with 325.50ppkg and £153 per head.
