A tremendous entry for the time of year and may I express my compliments to all the sellers for the top quality cattle on offer  - they were a fine example of feeding and farming cattle.
Fortunately, we got a trade to match. The beef trade has got very lively recently. Everybody is looking for cattle and everybody has plenty of forage and straw. Hopefully it will not end in tears ?

J.J. Lawrence sold a tremendous 52mo Pedigree Limousin Stock Bull to £1750 and NJ & MR Flack had £1170 for a 67mo Simmental x Stock Bull
A nice show of cows and calves found plenty of bidders, with a Lincoln Red outfit from Izzy Rainey to £1800 just pipped by an Aberdeen Angus Cow & heifer calf from Wroxham Home Farms which made £1810. Angus Cows and Bull Calves from Wroxham Home Farms sold to £1800, with Shorthorn outfits from WE Chantry to £1500.

CW Potter did well with Blue Bull calves to £470, £449, £445, £452. Alex Dann sold a Blue at £438. Limousins from RJ Barnes reached £362. R Paterson sold a nice Charolais x Heifer at £315. Herefords from Coston Hall sold to £232 and £205 for LG Brigham

A good day at Norwich, with plenty of farmers present after finishing harvest and now ready to concentrate on livestock.
