Harder work selling today, with the edge off the store cattle job. We do not think that this will be continued, because the beef cattle trade will filter through and hopefully feed will come easier. However, the amount of money involved in cattle nowadays means that some will be restricted and require sales to maintain their cashflow. At the end of the day, there are too many factors to give an accurate prediction, but generally things look good.

Pedigree Simmental Cows and Calves hit the heights for JR Goddard at £2000 and £1750. Bures Farm Partners South Devon Cows and Calves found a lot of interest to £1575 and £1475 and In Calf Blue Cows from J. Waspe reached £1300

A smaller seasonal entry and a very good trade compared to many other centres.
Top price went to Coston Hall Farms with a Limousin Bull at £340, whilst CW Potter made £338 for a B.Blue Bull. An outstanding Angus Heifer from David Parsons reached £300 while Alex Dann sold B.Blues to £282.
