New heights were scaled today. Cows sold to 225ppkg for Pointer & Son or £1733 for Jason Taylor and £1724 for Colin Parker.
Overall average 200.63ppkg

A good run of Cows and Calves from Kiln Lodge met a huge demand with plenty of bidders with Longhorn Cows and Calves to £1740 and £1350.

SHEEP (729)
Plenty of sheep today, a few more than expected (Please can you book in your sheep beforehand) with the trade not much to shout about but there is a festival on the horizon which might help.

Difficult times continue for sheep farmers. Not sure prices witll increase for 4 weeks. Top price today went to Alburgh Lamb at 268.10ppkg and £118.00 per head.
