Notes

STORE CATTLE & CALVES (309)

An excellent entry all round and a trade that sparkled at the quality end, especially for stronger sorts, while younger and second rate types were harder work.  This is not surprising and is due to the feed price crunch and lower forage yields However, the global protein shortage should help and hopefully the Government will find plenty of oil and gas from somewhere to keep us warm in the winter.
