Notes

332 Head of Cattle & Calves

Store and Breeding Cattle

Another excellent entry, as Farmers prepare for the silage/haymaking season, met a very firm trade yet again.
No real strength today, but Aberdeen Angus Heifers from Kiln Lodge Cattle reached £1240, Cows ad Calves £1850 for Wroxham Home Farms and barren Cows to £1570 for A Hurn and Partners. The beef trade continues to maintain a high level, which will help feeders and breeders however, higher input costs could prove too much for some and may necessitate a change in strategy.  The Americans have announced help for their Farmers, will this happen here ?
