314 Head of Cattle & Calves

Store and Breeding Cattle

The dearest trade yet - ever. We are now known as the quality market of the Midlands and East Anglia. It is easy to see why, because we do get some good stuff in these days and when coupled with a few fresh faces in the buying department we have ended up with an extremely fast trade. The warmer weather is helpful, so is the global shortage of protein. The price of fuel and feed is not helpful. However, despite the nut jobs, we feel that farming might just be in for a good time !!
Store cattle peaked at £1505 for a Hereford Steer from SP Game Ltd and Cows and Calves reached £2000 for Andrew Elliott.
