We sensed it would be lift off today and we were right. £1500 did not buy an awful lot, but that is how the trade is at the moment, with vendors leaving the market with an awful lot of money in their wallets. It certainly beats planting trees !!

Limousin Stock Bull to £1750 for RF & RJ Parker and Angus Heifer 36mo to £1220 for Mrs J Wareham

Calves a lot dearer for the usual reasons. CW Potter had 5 Blues over £400 up to £435. Alex Dann reached £410 with a Blue Heifer, while RJ Barnes had 4 younger sorts over £300. Pearn Wyatt sold Angus to £322 and £318

A busy day at Norwich with restrictions easier, all sheep were greeted with open arms and were wanted. The fat hoggs, cull ewes and store hoggs all showing record returns.
